I want tonstart out by saying there are some absolutely amazing professionals there from independent to NHS although NHS do seem to be few and far between as they are often stuck with policy and what they are told to do.
Now over the years we have had many professional cross our paths and there are times that I am left feeling confused and like I was in a parallel universe to them in the appoinment.
It confuses me that letters/emails can be written so factually about appointments discussions that never happend.

W has difficulties with pain and fatigue and physically struggles to do a physical task for long due to it. We have been supported by a independent Rheumatologist who has been wonderful.
When it comes to the NHS we have found seevices to blame his issues on weight.
We actually saw an NHS physio who spoke all the right words fully understand and the whole point of the appoinemnt was to dicuss equipment that would help and we did discuss equipment along with the difficulties that W faces. The physio stated they would be in contact after speaking with the ASD service for any advice and his Colleges.
After 4 weeks we had heard nothing so I emailed and he called Phil had a conversation but Phil answered what he could but did indicate to this person that he would be better speaking to me as I deal with it not him. The physio said he would email Phil later.

We recived and email detailing that he had spoken to Phil and tried to contact school but then goes on to talk about how he had pulled togther contacts that he believes that W needs to attend for his development.
First one an adult group for Autistic adults with learning difficulties to keep active.
Second on was a support group for Teenagers that are are Autstics and ADHD.
Third one an online support group for Autistic children between the ages of 13 and 25.
W is 11. He is as active as his body allows him and he pushes himself to the limits. None of the support offered is suitable for William and certainly was nothing like what was distressed during the appoinment further confusing us.
W deserves the right support, he deserves the right to be able to enjoy being able to do things in life without being constantly in pain or exhausted.

W paddle boarding recently. Always tries does his best and tries not to let pain and exhaustion stop him. This then makes him need days at the least to recover. W doesn't need more groups or activity to add to the frustration he already has he need the right management to be able to support him to enjoy life.
